The handicap system has changed for the 2012 /2013 season.

All handicaps apply to the player and carry across league divisions.

A = Scratch Player

B = Receives a 7-point start (1 black)

C= Receives a 14-point start (2 blacks)

D= Receives a 21-point start (3 blacks)

Dundalk Snooker League was founded in 1987 and it’s 1st Chairman was Michael Ralph,prior to this Dundalk Snooker Clubs had to play in the Newry & Mourne DIstrict Snooker League.

Dundalk has produced 1professional snooker player Anthony Kearney (mid 80′s)….Anthony was Irish Amateur Champion.

Michael Ralph has representened Rep of Ireland at senior level & Brendan Traynor at under 19 level.

Stephen O’ Hanlon’s 102 break is the highest made in the league in recent years, and David J McArdle’s 109 break in the 2013 Commercial Classic in the highest in a ranking event.

Paddy & Stephen Hayes remain the only Father & Son team to win The Dundalk Doubles.

Michael Ralph, Alan Thompson and Stephen O’Hanlon are all 3 time winners of The Dundalk/Louth Individual Championship.
